Noguchi Muroka Nama Genshu Honjozo Sake (BTL 720ml)

ThisĀ is is unlike any honjozoĀ (sake with distilled alcohol added, which tend to beĀ silky and light), we've tasted before. That may be because we also rarely see honjozos that are nama muroka genshus (unpasteurized, un-charcoal filtered, undiluted). It's fully-layered with grapefruit andĀ pear on the nose. The taste is also complex and rich, with earthy and vegetal hints of enoki mushroom and a dry finish reminiscent of goya, or bitter melon.
