We are very excited to carry these hard-to-get ciders and wines from Grape Republic, a winery established in 2017 that specializes in making natural wines made with grapes ripened in Nanyo City, Yamagata Prefecture. Their mission is to create wine from the high quality grapes that grow in Nanyo City and cultivate a community of new farmers and wineries to revitalize abandoned farmlands in the Yamagata countryside. A point of pride for their production process includes terra cotta Amphora pots imported from Spain which results in a, “more viney expression than the grape itself."
This cuvee is grapey and tropical with a hint of lively spice!
